Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce Advocacy Letters

 These are a series of some of the advocacy letters written by me on behalf of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce between the years of 2024 and 2025.  They cover a series of topics from housing projects to proposed business protections, to requests for federal funding for local military instillations. Media Coverage and the First World War

 This was a research project completed in March of 2022 detailing how the media coverage of the World War I was handled by Riverside California. The project draws comparisons on how media during warfare is portrayed and conveyed on a larger scale for World War I as well as how large-scale modern war is displayed referring to the current War in Ukraine.  Link to PDF:  Media Coverage and the First World War.pdf

Use of Force Panel

 This is a research project written in June of 2021 detailing the events of the shooting of Tyisha Miller on December 28th, 1998, by officers of the Riverside Police Department as well as the subsequent reform to the Riverside PD. This paper was written for former Mayor of Riverside Roland Loveridge. The project was completed as a research pair, with all the writing and half of the research interviews being completed by me, and the other half of the research interviews being completed by my partner.  Link to PDF:  Use of Force Panel.pdf

Entrepreneural Ecosystems

Land Restoration and Social Injustice of the Concord Naval Weapons Station

This is a research project completed in March of 2021 about the history of the Concord Naval Weapons Station. This would include the construction, controversial events, different injustices and protests by the local community, and finally the restoration of the land formally used by the Station after its decommissioning.  Link to PDF:  Land Restoration and Justice.pdf  

Possible Solutions to Gun Violence

This was a policy brief I had written in March of 2019 detailing various possible legislative actions that would work to reduce gun violence without infringing upon the Second Amendment.
